Musculoskeletal Screening

An hour screening with one of our physiotherapists, can assess your risk to injury by examining how you move, checking your joints, ligaments and assessing the way your muscles interact with each other. We can provide advice on injury prevention in the form of a personalised daily exercise programme. This can greatly reduce the risk of a severe debilitating injury.

Personal Exercise Programmes

This is an integral part of your rehabilitation. We will focus on, strengthening muscles, mobilising joints, stretching tight tissues, increasing stamina fitness, balance, proprioception & core stability.

Electrotherapy

In the form of ultrasound and interferential. This physiotherapy modality helps healing, reducing swelling and provides pain relief.

Sports Massage

It aims to promote suppleness and flexibility of muscles and joints. This is achieved by eliminating toxins embedded in muscle fibres, minimising scar tissue build up and remove adhesions.

For the sports person a sports massage is essential in maintaining top physical condition. We have found through experience that a sports massage prior to a sports event enhances performance by stimulating the circulation, releasing neural tension and improving flexibility. After a sports event it is equally beneficial as it relieves soreness and helps to remove waste products e.g. lactic acid.

Therapeutic Massage

Aims to bring balance between major muscles groups in the body. It also improves circulation, soft tissue flexibility and relieving tension, leaving you feeling relaxed.
