Sports Injury Clinic

Clinic

The new innovative physiotherapy and sports injury clinic has now opened. Our highly motivated, enthusiastic team provide comprehensive assessment and treatment of spinal & musculoskeletal disorders, biomechanical problems and sports injuries. Our extensive ranges of services include biomechanical assessments, foot orthotics, and advanced specialist rehabilitation in gym.

Education

We can also provide educational evening to any club and tailor it to meet the needs of your sport and your club members.

The educational evening focuses on the prevention of sport injury, which as you know is essential in achieving great results on the pitch. Our experienced chartered physiotherapist will provide comprehensive information regarding the warm up, stretching & strengthening, balance training, plyometric training and strapping. She will also discuss the best immediate treatment to carry out in the event of injury and also long term rehabilitation (focusing on frequent injuries that can 90% be avoided through high quality conditioning pre-match).

Our orthotist will also be available to address foot biomechanics. Imbalances in the foot can result in abnormal foot motion (overpronation or supination), this can impair foot function which can result in abnormal biomechanical alignment of the lower limbs and sometimes affect the ankles, knees, hips and back.
