Medical Card Prosthetic Consultation

The process for Medical Card Patients:

1. A referral letter is required for an assessment from a consultant or your GP.

2. Clinical assessment is carried out to determine your specific needs.

3. Application is made to the appropriate health board for funding on an individual basis.

4. When sanction is received the job will be started.

5. The patient will be called for the appropriate appointments.
